Informal Espalier Double Planted Apple

Fruit trees make beautiful informal espaliers. Their lack of symmetry means they can be shaped to suit your needs.  Choose a deciduous fruit tree and enjoy the gnarled branches of winter not to mention summer, when the fruit gets all of the attention.  Or choose an evergreen, such as a olive, as an effective way to cover a wall or block out a view.

  • Espalier Apples double planted

    APPLES (double planted)

Instead of multigrafted fruit trees, we plant two single apples together in one pot. This way you have cross polination without the worry of the intricacies of pruning the grafts for uniform growth.

Call us to find out which pair is suitable for your garden. Available in 40cm and some 50cm pots.

  • Espalier Pear Varieties

    PEARS (double planted)
